Tianjin has a superior industrial manufacturing industry foundation and a strong industrial base radiation power, and is located at the core of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei coordinated development strategy. In the first half of 2019, Tianjin focused on high-end industries and perfected the intelligent industry. The industrial added value was 417.408 billion yuan, an increase of 3.5%, and corporate profitability improved. Hebei's industrial structure continued to be adjusted and optimized, and its drive for economic development continued to increase. In the first half of the year, Hebei's GDP was 1.77 trillion yuan, an increase of 7.1% over the same period of the previous year. Beijing's industrial enterprises above designated size achieved operating income of 106.33 billion yuan, an increase of 3.7% over the same period of the previous year. The overall industrial economy is stable and improving.
