What Are the Components of Blown Film Machine Line?
Blown film extrusion is the most common process by which plastic films are made for the packaging industry. This process basically consists of a extruding a tube of molten plastic and continuously blowing or inflating it to several times initial diameter, to form a thin tubular film that can be used directly, or can be slit to form a flat film.
The blown film is produced by using an extruder that incorporates a blown film die and a cooling tower to cool the bubble.

The components of the co-extrusion blown film line are:
- Resin feed system
- Extruder
- Coextrusion die
- Air ring
- Internal pressure control for adjusting bubble diameter
- Folding frame
- Take-up or haul-off roll which set the MD draw
- Treatment system
- Winder
The design features are important for producing high quality films at a competitive price:
- An efficient and sized resin processing and feeding system
- Efficient screw design for high quality melt
- Low temperature and uniform
- Stable pressure
- High interest rates
- Optimized molds provide good layer control and thickness uniformity. The mold must also be designed to be easy to maintain and durable
- Air ring provides excellent cooling control and uniformity
- Automated web processing system for increased efficiency and reduced conversion time
- Modular design features for product conversion
- Integrated control system that is intuitive, operator friendly, and maintains the target process parameters
